7 million total.
And AT&T has no clue why ! I tried turning off LTE .. But that did not help .. Anybody else facing this issue ?
Why ?
Because of Single Radio limitations, iPhone 5 can only support CDMA or LTE at any given time. When the phone is on LTE and a voice call is made, the phone will fallback to CDMA (3G) network which by design does not support simultaneous voice and data.
However, Samsung’s Galaxy S3 can do this on Verizon’s LTE network. How ? because it uses dual simultaneous radios .. GS3 uses CDMA for voice and LTE for data.
I am surprised Samsung has not made a commercial yet to exploit this weakness of iPhone 5.
